Here is my first ever tutorial written...

Since this is my first one...it's probably not that good...

So I would appreciate comments on how I could make things more clearer and easier for the readers...

The .PNG file is also included...!!!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY...THINGS LIKE OPACITY CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!!! LOOK IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING JUST LIKE IT'S SHOWN ON THE TUTORIAL!!!

PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS IF NEEDED!!!

~ Thanks ~ :sillybunny:

Those tabs look really cool.

ya.. I did have a little bit of a hard time running through it. I missed one of the step.
maybe separate the steps a little more, I didn't really want to speak up and sound like a jerk but..
Its honest constructive criticism. I would want the same thing

But besides that I like the use of filters and effects.

And the colors looks great in this forum setting

Nice work

No Problem...It Was My First One So I Knew It Was Going To Be Bad...I tried To Run Through it Myself And I Had The Same Problem You Did...

I Wanted To See What It Would Be Like If I didn't Already Know How To Make It And it Wasn't All That Great...

I Am Gonna Work on It And Finish part Two...My Favorite Part...

Thanks A Lot Mapnapkin For The Input...I know now how To Make it Better!!!

Hi Ecoline Crush,

I tried too and had similar difficulties like the others, especially making the buttons where the tut gets a little sort of foggy. If you would also point to the canvas colour one ought to use as the usual/default black, white or grey makes it rather trying to keep things in focus.

To make the tabs - one could also use instructions in the tut at: http://solardreamstu...ks/jewelbutton/ ( but that is the fun and adventure in using Fireworks as there are so many paths to achieve the same goals!)

Nevertheless, this not criticism to put you down, rather to appreciate your sharing your prowess with us Fireworks toddlers ( well I am one definitely )! So don't worry about the precision of your instructions as that will come with doing a few more

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to Part II..

Thanks A Lot Of course...

I now understand what I need to do to make better tutorials...

Hopefully, Part Two will be a lot better!!!

Also, I am sorry but I have a lot of work I am doing right now, so basically part two probably won't be here until a few days!!!

( If you get stuck somewhere just check out the .PNG ... That should clear up any issues! )
