Hi Guys

I've written a FW tutorial on how you can quickly create the nice swirly loading animations that accompany many Ajax web applications like this one:

You can read it in the Adobe Design Center.

Or you can save some time and go here: http://www.ajaxload.info ;)

Nice one Matt and welcome to fwguru btw!

MagdalenaH - Thats pretty cool but definitely limiting your creativity there without the ability to control all aspects of the animation such as duration and level of opacity for example.

I agree. Just lately I am so busy that my creativity is limited by the number of the hours in a day, so I tend to use ready-made stuff for certain elements that would be time consuming. I find that site to be a great little resource for people who are in the same boat as me.

And Matt - your tutorial is great :)

I'm glad you liked it MagdalenaH.

I was a big fan of ajaxload.info too, but I couldn't customise the loaders how I wanted them and I wanted mine to be more unique, so I thought it can't be that hard to make your own... and of course with Fireworks it wasn't ;)

I figured more designers would be in the same boat as me, and that is how the simple, yet effective tutorial came about, and will hopefully help busy people like yourself.

Cheers
