This is probably real easy for all of you but, I have been searching for over a week on a tutorial on this. I am new to fireworks and fairly new to flash. The closest thing I have found was Alan's wonderful album creator. I am looking to display a horizontal row of clickable thumnails which opens in a separate browser. There are more pictures than fit on one page so I guess they would scoll in a frame. The closest thing I found was on this site

I don't need a slidshow or a preview image. Basically just the row of pictures they have on the right. Can anybody please help me do this? I am doing this for free for a friend's site ( http://www.eclipseyourcar.com ). Thanks!

First off welcome Vicentino!

The Album Creator is designed so anyone can configure their own player to the XML source of the generated output. If all you need is an image scroller, here's an old but still useful tutorial:

http://www.wildform....nuous_scroller/

Id also say there's literally hundreds of these out there for Flash. If you are asking to rig the current players to auto scroll, then lemme know. :)

1st I have to say that with all of my internet searching, this is the best fireworks site I have found. There are so many helpfull and knowledgable members. Wow.
I tried searching in google with some new terms and I found some pretty cool scrolling movies. But, just like the link you supplied, they don't work to where I can click on a thumbnail and have it open in another window. They combine all the thumbs into one scrolling image. http://www.layoutgal...ter41-page1.htm is close but it contains a preview screen and the tutorial is very very long. I figure there should be something already made that could be altered. Is there a way to change the album creator player to something like this?
Getting closer - Thanks!

Still very new to all of this and just reading through the site (So be gentle). Couldn't this be accomplished like this:

I'm guessing you can just edit the buttons to the the photos. Then just change the way in which you want the photos to transition.

Hello Vincentino,
Like yourself, when I started (and that's not too long ago) I wondered the same. How they do dat'!.
Often, there are the flash apps that are sold specifically to quickly gen photo albums and much faster than learning Flash..
Next to this album, which I think is GREAT!! here are a couple I purchased.
(Note, I use Dreamweaver)

http://www.flash-sli...r.com/overview/

Then a Google on Flash Photo gallery should get a few more hits.
Hope that helps.
