I use the default styles from time to time more or less use them to kick start a custom style. I have a style that is strictly to adjust the linear gradient from a horizontal gradient to a vertical gradient.

One thing that urks me is the Default Styles are not named, but only assoicated with a number. :(

it seems that the default styles are a little dated. they feel like 1995 in a lot of ways.

maybe you could share that horiz to vertical gradient style? i certainly would get a lot of use out of it.

Yeah, too bad there is not a preference to always create vertical gradients by default. I use vertical gradients a lot more than horizontal graidents. Anyone else feel the same?

Don't think they are pretty useful Alan, my thought is that all of them were created without purpose and in a random way. I would suggest to renew the styles :dunno:

I always play without defined styles. I do always every on the moment, from scratch... maybe I should start using styles...

I second this. On rare ocasions when I do use them, I end up totally changing them....

I admitedly never use the predefined styles, however I use the texture (grain) dropdown menu pretty often.

Creating own style is better i think, cause the default styles are old enough to use...
