I just got my galaxy note 2 two weeks ago and I'm loving it. The phone might be big but the screen is gorgeous. I got a few questions hoping someone can answer them.

1. I want to change default icons in the application launcher, and also part of the dock ( I think they're thesame ) Is there a program that can do this ? Or probably replace the icons permanently through root access ? I might be planning to release an icon theme so I might package it in the future. The go launcher can change icons but I got fed up when a theme I installed showed spam.

2. When changing the default launcher of the samsung note 2 ( touchwiz ) with something else. Does the touchwiz interface still run on the background or it just takes up space ?
