Hello gurus, I'm new in forum and would like to know if this effect is possible in fireworks CS6?

yes u can use Alienskin eye candy plugin.

where was this made ? I think this is a skin of a cheetah , a high res image. Then a text fur served as a guideline and he just cut through the other parts.

I think it you look at step 7 , he used a a brush which is not available in adobe fireworks. Hmm but i think it can work.
