Hi,

CS5 has an aggravating behavior re: Gradients.

It is very difficult to adjust the gradient handle on gradients, while keeping the handle directly
horizontal (x axis), or directly vertical (y axis).

In either cases the line of the handle skews slightly off axis, and no amount of adjustment or
trick seems to get it to want to cooperate.

It's not mouse related or driver related. Holding SHIFT does not seem to limit the behavior
to square axis either.

Is there a trick to getting this to just do what it should do. Thanks!

Actually, you should be able to snap to vertical or horizontal by holding SHIFT and grabbing and dragging from the line of the handle, not the end node of the handle. For some reason, grabbing the line of the handle behaves differently than grabbing the end node of the handle. :\

Thanks Dave, that did it! Out of all things you try, why is it always the one thing that you didn't try ... ;)
