I'd be curious if anyone that uses Adobe Fireworks is also a Android developer or designer. If so, let us know!

By looking at Google's UI & visuaal guidelines for Android, its all photoshop & illustrator -stuff.
http://developer.and...con_design.html

But then again, usually designers who uses Fireworks tend to keep it quiet.

Yeah those are more templates than anything else. I've made a PNG document that contains assets for a video game I'm creating for the android platform. Once I get closer I'll feel better about releasing the Fw template to the public, but for now its got all the game stuff intertwined in it. Good thing Fireworks can open current PSD/AI documents or else it would be a pain in the ass. :)

Thanks mikko!

I would tend to not use an image editing program to do UI design,as the Eclipse plugin has a pretty decent mockup environment that lets you position things just how you want them. It's a bit fiddly but you'd end up with an XML file you can give directly to the developers.Probably quicker than fiddling with a mockup and then converting to XML once you're used to the process.
