Is it just me, or is it actually harder in CS4 to get to the styles you use more often?

I have a handful of preset styles I use often.
For instance:

- a small font/color style for captions/labels
- a soft, semi transparent grey style for mimicking shadows
- an off-white, paper-like gradient for giving white books/pages some tangibility on pure white backgrounds
- a randomized specular gloss effect for imitating coated stocks

Most of the time they took a little customizing, but they were a great starting point.

These were all one click away in CS3 but now I have to pick thru menus to find them for each new document.

Am I missing a way to have 'home', preloaded styles?

Cheers,

Alex

You could replace the Default style set with your own styles?

My point is (unless I'm missing something), there doesn't seem to be a default set of styles anymore. The styles palette is empty until you select a set of styles.

you probably need to change from "current document" to "global styles" or whatever it's called (don't have the beta anymore ;) )
