Wow, I finally made another tutorial. Thanks to Lian for the cool styles I used for the tetris-blocks.

Let me know if this makes sense or not.

good question, blue. i'm sure someone at adobe has tested that, but i don't really have more than a few hundred styles, patterns, and a handful of textures, so i havn't noticed anything. but now i'm curious.....hehe.

even if performance stays up to par, its a nightmare trying to find them all. especially patterns and textures, those take forever to navigate. unless, of course, you have senocular's patterns and textures panel.

My guess is that it would be similar to having 6000 fonts after a while they do start to slow things down a bit. THe difference could be if Fireworks only has to link to the files and not actually load them.

Sorry Blue missed this earlier.

There is not an impact in performance.

sorry ALAN ur wrong buddy..
styles are like fonts and plugins which are loaded when you initiate fireworks ,they do eat RAM leading to slow performance ,
thats the reason we should make seperate style files much like libraries and use them when needed>>>>>
